Sai Kalyankari Shikshan Prasaran Sanstha, Gumthi – 441111, always open to the differently able children who are deprived of a special school & training centre. We are at your services with our well experienced , dedicated, humble loving special teachers & care takers who are available & work round the clock untingly Sai Kalyankari Shikshan Prasaran Sanstha always extends it’s helping hand to support & take care of mild, moderate, severally challenged children’s.
Ashish more who took a different path had many challenges ahead of him after completing MSW education some give smooth simple life & some lead to prosperity but avoiding all these path and wanted to walk alone he was the only one to find the way not with anyone after completing his MSW post graduation he got job in New Delhi for a year the better the salary the better the future but they come back & he notice that there were many mentally retarded children in Buddha Nagar area of Nagpur. These settlements are mainly of slum, economically backward people it was in this neighborhood that he set foot in 2002 Divyajyoti special school when school was established it was difficult to collect the first student because these uneducated people believed that these children could & stand on their own foot they personally guide the workers going from house to house & advising parents about the future of the child then parents believe & take admission in the school now they have own school building.
Divyajyoti special school for mentally challenge children we have 75 students age group 6 to 18 year in school & trained staff we distribute students as per IQ . We provide them special teaching facility, sports activity, cultural activity, counselling service , bus facility & we also take interactive sessions for the students. One of our student also participate special Olympic in Bocce game & win gold medal, one students win gold medal in swimming.
We also have workshop Sant Sitaram Maharaj Residential Workshop & Rehabilitation center for the adult mentally Retarded Gumthi, Taluka- Kamptee, Dist -Nagpur age group is 18 to 35 years we have 75 students in workshop all students live at school we provide various training to the students for their rehabilitation Sewing Machine & Embroidery Training, Rakhi Making, Agriculture Training, Paper Drone & plate making training, Agarbatti & Phenyal Making Training, free resident for the children’s the workshop attempts to rehabilitate them by identifying the interest & abilities & providing them with training in the trades available to them.
